About the Meeting
PRC Week 2023 convenes 2019-2024 PRC funding cycle recipients, community members, partners, and CDC PRC program staff and other agency leadership to provide a forum for the sharing of best practices in collaborative public health prevention research, co-learn about facilitators and challenges to building healthier communities, and expand their networks and collaborations.
Through the various sessions planned in the agenda, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Describe the history, objectives, and success factors of PRC collaborations.
- Identify other PRCs with common interests and foci.
- Increase awareness on how key components of collaboration can be applied across PRCs.
- Apply principles of collaboration throughout the PRC network.
- Develop a plan for follow up and collaboration (for impact/equity/or synergy) with another PRC (or a group of PRCs).
